for everyone
Category:Restaurants
Cuisine: Other
Location:Robinson's Place, Manila
Positives:
1. The flavor of the meatballs was very interesting.
2. Good sauce, but pasta needs work.
3. Curry-like sauce was really good. :)
4. Very interesting drinks! (We had lemon mint iced tea and chai tea, which were both actually very refreshing.)
5. Good service. :) The servers and people behind the counter are accomodating and cheery. (You'll have to go to the counter to order and pay, however. How is this a positive? Exercise. :b )
6. Their foods range from paninis, rice meals, salads, pastas to cakes. They boast of their Dutch Chicken, Beef chai rice, and Chaiadobo.
7. The quirky interior design. :)
8. Good prices!

Negatives:
1. Some of their dishes needed some refining. Better presentation would help, too. (Their drinks are perfectly fine, though.)
2. Some might be turned off by the open-air/ middle-of-the-hallway-location of some branches.

Deserves a re-visit?
Definitely. :)

Other remarks:
1. Since we last visited, they have opened up branches in SM Mall of Asia, SM North Edsa The Block, NAIA, and other Robinson's.
2. They boast of their teas and coffees from around the world. (The owner traveled the world and brought his influences into the kitchen.) We particularly loved the chai tea because of it's container. Haha!
3. Their 'budget meals' (combos? I forget.) are good, too.
4. Their mascot (a jolly silver airplane-enthusiast-looking winged teapot) is adorable.
5. They offer a unique dining experience with their very interesting ambiance and overall look.
6. They apparently have wi-fi, too.
7. The space for this "Concept Cafe" is intimate despite how it literally is open. (The Robinson's Place branch is situated in the middle of a mall hallway for instance. This differs per branch, however.)
